Our African dance workshop is an exciting, different and educational way to engage children with the many different styles of African dance. It works perfectly to coincide and complement Black History Month or at any time of the year. Dancing to the sounds of the African beats, this workshop will demonstrate the power of music and rhythm. Led by an experienced energetic dance tutor, the class will go through a series of warm ups, choreography and learning story telling through movement of the African dance and culture.

Performance option:

• End of day performance to allow children to showcase what they have learnt throughout the day to their peers and/or parents

 

Workshop:

• Sessions usually run from 45mins - 1 hour - We can adapt the sessions to work around your day
