Adult Course - Terms and Conditions

1. Payments & Enrollment

1.1. Membership:
This is an adult course, which means it is booked as a ‘block’ of lessons and does not tie the participant into ongoing lessons with us or require a subscription.

1.2. Payment Method:
Payments are made for the entire course and cannot be refunded or transferred to any other booking made at Academy Of Movement.

1.3. Refunds:
All class bookings are non-refundable, regardless of missed sessions due to illness, holidays, or other circumstances.

2. Course Structure & Attendance

2.1. Commitment:
Participants are expected to attend all sessions in the course. As the course runs as a structured program, missed sessions cannot be made up in alternative classes or transferred to future courses.

2.2. Punctuality:
Participants must arrive on time for classes. Late arrivals may be required to wait for an appropriate entry point. Those arriving more than 15 minutes late may be denied entry to avoid disruption.

2.3. Minimum Numbers:
Academy Of Movement reserves the right to cancel the course if the minimum participant requirement is not met. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

3. General Terms

3.1. Personal Belongings:
Academy Of Movement is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings while on the premises.

3.2. Liability:
Academy Of Movement assumes no liability for injuries sustained during class participation or while on the premises. Participants should ensure they are physically capable of undertaking the course before enrolling.

3.3. Dress Code and Jewellery:
Participants must wear appropriate attire and have hair tied back. Jewellery is not permitted during classes for safety reasons.

3.4. Conduct:
Participants are expected to fully engage in the course and put in their best effort. Disruptive behavior, bullying, or offensive language will not be tolerated.

3.5. Health and Safety:
Participants should not attend if unwell or injured in a way that prevents full participation. Contagious illnesses such as Chicken Pox, Head Lice, Common Cold, Flu, or COVID-19 symptoms should be reported in line with government health advice.

4. Cancellations & Changes

4.1. Course Cancellations:
In rare cases where Academy Of Movement must cancel a course due to circumstances beyond our control, affected participants will be contacted. Options may include rescheduling or, in some cases, a full refund.

4.2. Individual Class Cancellations:
If a class within a course is canceled by Academy Of Movement due to unforeseen circumstances, efforts will be made to reschedule. If this is not possible, participants will be offered a pro-rata refund.

4.3. Participant Withdrawals:
If a participant chooses to withdraw from the course after enrolling, no refunds or transfers will be issued.

By enrolling in Academy Of Movement courses, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Academy Of Movement reserves the right to update these terms and conditions as necessary. Please check our website and/or handbook for the latest version.
